Effective immediately, members experiencing flu-like symptoms… 

-are encouraged not to attend post activities; and

-shall receive an excused absence.   

To receive an excused absence, a parent/ guardian must contact Officer Bernard Petkis @ (860) 688-4545 ext. 166. 

A doctor’s note may be required.

The Windsor Police Explorers, established in 1981, is a community oriented, non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable organization under I.R.C. section 501(c)(3).  The program operates year-round under the direction of several sworn and civilian Advisors.  Its mission is to develop responsible youth; encourage academic excellence, leadership, teamwork, and volunteerism; and offer young men and women insight into the field of law enforcement.
